DPI industrial and dental shape scanners are based on AFI technology. The AFI 5000P is a high performance, portable scanning system that can be used in general purpose applications to perform measurement tasks such as inspection, modeling, anomaly detection and process control. DPI integrated systems bundle AFI scanners with positioners and software to accomplish specific manufacturing tasks such as airfoil inspection and composite repair. The DPI/O is a product under development that allows intra-oral scanning of teeth in real time, for the creation of accurate digital impressions.
